HERMOSA BEACH ANTHEM // 'BRO HYMN' FULL-STAGE CROWD INVASION REEL
FLETCHER DRAGGE • Long Beach Arena / South Bay All-Ages Broadcast

Positive self-reliance, Hermosa Beach backyard keg parties, Taylor Steele surf/skate VHS soundtracks, and 5,000 voices arm-in-arm singing 'Bro Hymn'.
Formed in Hermosa Beach, CA in 1988 by vocalist Jim Lindberg, guitarist Fletcher Dragge, bassist Jason Thirsk, and drummer Byron McMackin. Combining Black Flag's South Bay aggression with Bad Religion's melodic urgency, Pennywise became synonymous with 1990s surf, skate, and snowboard culture and turned 'Bro Hymn' into punk rock's ultimate tribute to fallen friends.

Fletcher Dragge and Jim Lindberg invite a hundred kids onto the stage as the entire arena locks arms for the deafening 'Whoa-oh-oh' chorus of 'Bro Hymn'.
