CYCOTIC YOUTH

Born on the Venice Beach boardwalk and concrete skate bowls in 1986: blistering Dogtown skate-punk, Suicidal Family crossover thrash, and Venice street solidarity.

Originally founded in Venice, California in 1986 as Psychotic Youth by brothers Jason Brown and Jimmy Brown alongside guitarist Alex 'Axis' Ventura. Deeply rooted in the Venice Dogtown skate and hardcore scene alongside Suicidal Tendencies, the band reunited as Cycotic Youth with bassist Rico Villasenor (Manic Hispanic) and powerhouse drummer Steve Bolognese, releasing a self-titled 15-track barrage of 90-second Venice thrashers before signing with Open Your Ears Records for 'No Way Out'.
